A few weeks ago, I decided to try a few craft beers. I went to the liquor store and got a few to taste and drink.
After a few nights of testing beers, I noticed something strange.
I'm not sick or nauseated. Let me explain.
Two and a half years ago I was diagnosed with a stomach disease called Gastroparesis. (I'll spare you the medical mumbo jumbo, and let you look it up on Google)
It is a chronic illness that has no real cure and I will have to live with the rest of my life.
It causes me to be sick and nauseated 24/7 and can also make me feel like I have food poisoning or the stomach flu.
For some reason when I started drinking the craft beers on a nightly basis, the nausea disappeared and I haven't been sick. I don't know why, and I'm not complaining.
So I went and got more craft beers and have been drinking a couple every night.
I refer to it as my "Beer Therapy"
Not only is it fun and exciting to try/test/taste new beers, but, I get to feel good too.
I have been taking written and video notes this whole journey. And at the end of the first month I will post some videos of my favorite beers.
But, for now, I gotta go! I'm late for a therapy session!
